Since 2000, Wuxi City has held international industrial design activities on several occasions, which has laid down the city’s leading position in domestic industrial design circles in China and built a good environment for the development of industrial design. Under the promotion of the city government, Wuxi has made further progress in such areas as design education, enterprise design strength, the development of design industry and design international cooperation; it also formed a leading event in the China Wuxi international industrial design expo.

Since 2006, the China Wuxi International Industrial Design Expo has worked closely with CCTV and together have successfully forged a high level, large scale platform for innovation and design in the Wuxi region. 

This year’s expo will take place between November 10 & 12, 2007 and will follow the theme of ‘Design achieves future’. Along side the expo, a summit and investment fair will take place.
